Lawrence is known for its location near Village Park, which sits on low, clay-heavy ground. When rain falls or snow melts, this soil holds water right up against basements and crawl spaces—especially in ZIP code 49064. Over time, water seeps through foundation cracks, cold joints, and floors, causing damage you may not see until it’s too late. Each block has its own unique drainage issues, making expert help important. Families throughout Lawrence turn to our basement waterproofing services to keep their homes dry, healthy, and ready for every season.
EverDry protects homes across all of Lawrence—from historic streets near Village Park to newer builds on the outskirts. Every neighborhood faces its own water headaches, so we tailor our approach block by block.
Homes closest to Village Park in 49064 often deal with water pooling after heavy rain, leading to stubborn leaks. Here, a multi-step waterproofing system is recommended to combat recurring basement seepage.
Properties on Lawrence’s west side have aging basement foundations that are vulnerable to shifting soils and lateral water pressure. These homeowners benefit most from foundation repair and targeted waterproofing upgrades.
Historic downtown neighborhoods experience water entering through fieldstone or older block basements. Interior water control combined with sump upgrades makes a real difference for these structures.
The northern stretch of Lawrence, with newer home developments, faces surface drainage issues each spring. Proper grading and total excavation waterproofing are key to controlling seasonal runoff here.
Hear from homeowners who trusted EverDry to protect their basements, foundations, and homes with long-lasting waterproofing and structural solutions.

Jim Glick came and explained everything very well. What the company covers and how their system works. He understood what I was looking for and offered me just that.Posted on Google Melanie PageTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. David came out and spent 90 minutes being one of the best salesmen I've ever encountered in real life. He FIRST tells you which color on the test means mold before he tests for mold. It's the bad color. He FIRST tells you which number is acceptable for wall moisture before he places the device on the wall and gets the measurement. It's a bad measurement. He tells you the things floating in the flashlight beam is also mold, though I could have sworn those were known as dust motes. He tells you how water falls into the hole that was dug to create your home and everything is moving, just like when you stand on the beach and the water washes in and you feel yourself slowly sinking. You know what it's like to stand on a beach. He tells you with their special machine, you'll never have to dust again. He tells you have a really nice house and you've taken good care of it, praising your home and efforts, but if you trust EverDry, they can make everything great, permanently, so you don't feel like you're living in a dump. He takes photos and prints them from the trunk of his Cadillac. He measures the square footage and then pulls out a pre-made sheet and tells you the total cost to do all the things: $28,000. You don't even have water in your basement; you just want to add longevity to the current foundation. You feel like nothing about the offer is tailor made to your home because there is no itemized estimate. He lets you know that if you want financing, it's about 10% to 11% interest that compounds daily. You need to put $500 down. Your house is so tempting, he says, because he feels that if he can squeeze you in between other jobs when the crew is waiting around, they'll reduce the price. However, you have to agree that you will only get 24-48 hours' notice. You tell him you work from home and can't have noise while you're working. He continues to say you only get 24-48 hours' if you want the special deal, so you feel like he doesn't care and isn't listening. You say you need time to talk to your bank about financing, and he emphasizes that financing is financing, that you'll have to pay off the loan faster through your bank and that you should sign with him today. You tell him you're going to take a week to think about it. Uninvited, he says he'll stop by in two days. Later, you get a call from EverDry asking how David was. You are evasive and say that he said everything clearly, because he did. He was very clearly a salesman who wanted to close on a $28,000 contract after a 90-minute spiel. But we're not done yet. Two weeks later, you receive communication from EverDry asking you to confirm an appointment to go over pricing options at your home. You do not confirm the appointment, as you never made an appointment. EverDry had more invited themselves to your home. So, if that's what you're looking for as a homeowner, 5/5 stars, no notes.Posted on Google Emmanuel MelecioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Interior drainage, external barriers, and ventilation—all installed as a single project. Other companies offer one or two steps, never the full protection EverDry delivers.
Our warranty goes with the house—not just the owner. That means a new buyer is covered at closing, with no transfer cost or red tape.
Every quote starts with a 20-point inspection and detailed written estimate. Our process is transparent, and there’s never any pressure to commit to a service.
Yes, the clay-rich soils around Village Park hold water after rainfall, which pushes moisture against your basement walls. This makes Lawrence homes particularly prone to leaks and seepage, especially in ZIP code 49064. EverDry’s exterior drainage solutions address exactly this issue, preventing water from lingering against your foundation and reducing the risk of future leaks.
Small leaks can sometimes be addressed within a day or two, but stubborn or widespread water issues may require a few days for full repair and drying. EverDry performs a swift assessment and gets started quickly, focusing on both immediate water removal and long-term basement waterproofing to protect your Lawrence home.
Older (1950s-era) Lawrence houses often have uncoated block walls or fieldstone, which are more porous and prone to water intrusion. Our systems are designed to work with historic structures, sealing cracks and installing drainage systems that don’t disturb your home’s original features.
During emergency situations, we prioritize urgent Lawrence calls and aim to assess and start mitigation as soon as possible—often within 24 hours, depending on the severity and our dispatch schedule. Don’t wait; call us immediately so we can limit damage and get started on a lasting fix.
Simple sealants or DIY fixes only cover surface cracks and wear away with time. Lawrence basements need a system that stops water at its entry points—both inside and out. EverDry’s multi-step approach targets the whole problem, not just the symptoms, for results that last.
