Demotte’s proximity to Field of Dreams Park means many neighborhoods sit on low-lying, poorly draining soil—especially in 46310. Rainwater runs off park grounds, pooling near foundations. Combined with clay-rich subsoil, this creates intense hydrostatic pressure that forces water through cracks or floor joints. Even a minor leak can escalate into mold or structural problems if ignored. Residents report repeated seepage after heavy storms and spring thaws, as water has few places to go but into basements. For fast, proven help, trust our full roster of basement waterproofing services—customized for Demotte homes.
We safeguard basements throughout Demotte—each block faces its own challenge, whether it’s pooling park runoff, dense clay, or rising groundwater. Our solutions are tailored, not one-size-fits-all.
Homes in this central area and close to the park (ZIP 46310) deal with seasonal ponding and slow surface drainage after storms. This can quickly lead to seepage along the base of basement walls. Our perimeter drainage and exterior sealing deliver lasting protection here.
Demotte’s northern blocks experience high groundwater, especially during spring melt. Homeowners there often see moisture creeping up from the floor or wall joints. We recommend sump system upgrades and wall crack sealing to keep these homes dry all year.
Older homes in the southwest, especially near Jasper Street, may struggle with settling foundations and block wall seepage after heavy rain. A combination of wall stabilization and interior drainage keeps water from damaging finished basements.
On Demotte’s eastern edge, the ground slopes toward homes—funneling water directly against vulnerable basements. Those with unfinished crawl spaces often need encapsulation and foundation sealing for reliable dryness.
Hear from homeowners who trusted EverDry to protect their basements, foundations, and homes with long-lasting waterproofing and structural solutions.

Jim Glick came and explained everything very well. What the company covers and how their system works. He understood what I was looking for and offered me just that.Posted on Google Melanie PageTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. David came out and spent 90 minutes being one of the best salesmen I've ever encountered in real life. He FIRST tells you which color on the test means mold before he tests for mold. It's the bad color. He FIRST tells you which number is acceptable for wall moisture before he places the device on the wall and gets the measurement. It's a bad measurement. He tells you the things floating in the flashlight beam is also mold, though I could have sworn those were known as dust motes. He tells you how water falls into the hole that was dug to create your home and everything is moving, just like when you stand on the beach and the water washes in and you feel yourself slowly sinking. You know what it's like to stand on a beach. He tells you with their special machine, you'll never have to dust again. He tells you have a really nice house and you've taken good care of it, praising your home and efforts, but if you trust EverDry, they can make everything great, permanently, so you don't feel like you're living in a dump. He takes photos and prints them from the trunk of his Cadillac. He measures the square footage and then pulls out a pre-made sheet and tells you the total cost to do all the things: $28,000. You don't even have water in your basement; you just want to add longevity to the current foundation. You feel like nothing about the offer is tailor made to your home because there is no itemized estimate. He lets you know that if you want financing, it's about 10% to 11% interest that compounds daily. You need to put $500 down. Your house is so tempting, he says, because he feels that if he can squeeze you in between other jobs when the crew is waiting around, they'll reduce the price. However, you have to agree that you will only get 24-48 hours' notice. You tell him you work from home and can't have noise while you're working. He continues to say you only get 24-48 hours' if you want the special deal, so you feel like he doesn't care and isn't listening. You say you need time to talk to your bank about financing, and he emphasizes that financing is financing, that you'll have to pay off the loan faster through your bank and that you should sign with him today. You tell him you're going to take a week to think about it. Uninvited, he says he'll stop by in two days. Later, you get a call from EverDry asking how David was. You are evasive and say that he said everything clearly, because he did. He was very clearly a salesman who wanted to close on a $28,000 contract after a 90-minute spiel. But we're not done yet. Two weeks later, you receive communication from EverDry asking you to confirm an appointment to go over pricing options at your home. You do not confirm the appointment, as you never made an appointment. EverDry had more invited themselves to your home. So, if that's what you're looking for as a homeowner, 5/5 stars, no notes.Posted on Google Emmanuel MelecioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Homes adjacent to Field of Dreams Park often sit slightly lower than the surrounding land. After rain, water drains off the park, pooling near homes and basement walls. Plus, Demotte’s heavy clay soil holds moisture, building up pressure that pushes water through cracks. A basement waterproofing system made for these park-adjacent conditions blocks water before it causes lasting trouble.
We treat active basement leaks with urgency—especially after a Demotte storm. Once you call, our team schedules a prompt site visit, inspects all water entry points, and provides an action plan. Temporary measures can often be installed to contain water until full repairs are scheduled.
Yes, older homes—especially those built before the 1980s in Demotte—often have porous concrete block or stone foundations, making them more prone to leaks. Our systems account for these materials with tailored solutions, so you won’t be trapped by recurring leaks year after year.
Acting quickly—especially before another heavy Demotte rain—prevents worsening damage. Water intrusion can escalate to mold and structural issues far faster than most realize. Waterproofing now lets you avoid high repair bills and gets your basement dry and healthy before the next wet cycle.
DIY crack repairs might offer a temporary fix, but they don’t stop water already under pressure from finding new entry points. For Demotte’s park-adjacent homes and heavy soils, only a whole-home waterproofing system with drainage, sealing, and ventilation solves the problem for good.
